Could WWE Raw Feature a Sasha Banks Heel Turn?

After a tough loss to buddy/rival, Bayley, will this be the Monday Night Raw that Sasha Banks resorts back to her old ways?

If you aren’t sure what I mean by “her old ways”, then look at some of Sasha Banks’ old NXT matches for reference. Done yet? Well if you are and you saw, then now you know. As many already know and some may have just found out, some of Banks’ success in the WWE was achieved while she was portraying a vindictive, conniving, cold-hearted heel and despite her gigantic, loyal and dedicated fan base, there are many people that feel she should have stayed that way.

The reason why doesn’t seem to be because fans think her move set is limited to only four or five wrestling maneuvers, it also doesn’t seem to be because the fans think she’s being given a push she hasn’t deserved. In fact, it seems as though most people who want her to turn heel are in fact fans themselves and are simply just tired of seeing the heel that they all hated to love, become a watered down, “goodie-2-shoes” baby face.

So the question is, will Banks turn heel and once again regain that “ruthless, take no prisoners” attitude that put her on the map? Well, I don’t really know, to be honest. While being a heel is what got her noticed, to a lot of people she’s still bearable as a face and if Banks’ did indeed turn heel, I would bet that in this case, all the fans who are actually enjoying her run as a fan favorite would think that a heel turn would be huge mistake, because cheers she gets in almost every arena tends to be exceptionally loud.

Still, if there’s going to be a Banks heel turn, now wouldn’t be so bad. Despite Banks winning her match against current Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, she didn’t win the title due to the fact that she won via count out. Add this to the fact that ever since January, Banks hasn’t been seen in the title picture as much as one would think she’d be, mixing plenty of good old-fashioned frustration and anger from not still being at the top of the mountain and you have a recipe for a pretty decent heel turn, if done right.
