In what is a constantly developing story, WWE Legend and Two-Time Hall of Famer, Ric Flair has been hospitalized.

On August 12, multiple media sources reported that WWE Legend Ric Flair had been admitted by his family to the hospital for routine monitoring for “heart issues.” Despite the reports, Melinda Morris Zanoni, his agent at Legacy Talent and Entertainment, tweeted that there was no cause for concern.

However, it seems that Flair’s medical situation may have taken a turn for the worse. Earlier this morning, Zanoni tweeted out asking everyone to keep Flair in their prayers as he battled some “tough medical issues.”

It’s difficult to speculate exactly the condition Flair is in or his recovery. But the series of tweets paint a rapidly changing situation.

The 68-year-old, two-time Hall of Famer and 16-time world champion, is one of the most decorated wrestlers in history. More than that, he gave us many incredible matches and moments throughout his career. In the latter part of his career he was closely associated with Charlotte Flair, his real-life daughter. At WrestleMania 32 he helped her capture the Women’s Championship. A month later, the heelish Charlotte Flair belittled her father for never being there for her and ordered him out of the ring. He would make his last televised appearance congratulating Sasha Banks, who had beaten Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Though there hasn’t been a release from Charlotte regarding her father’s health, the WWE did confirm the report on their website.
