WWE: Charlotte Thanks Fans’ Support Following Ric Flair’s Medical Scare

WWE star Charlotte, Ric Flair daughter, send out a thank you post on Instagram to the fans for “prayers, texts, calls, and support”.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you may have missed all of the drama regarding Ric Flair’s medical situation, which has been turbulent over the past few days. As reported Monday, the WWE Legend was hospitalized with ‘tough medical issues’. The extent of the issues was unknown, so questions of his status remained.

However, later that day, a new report from TMZ was released. Noting that Flair was out of surgery and with his family resting: “Flair is out of surgery and resting, a rep for WWE tells TMZ Sports. Unclear how the surgery went but we’re told Ric’s family is by his side and they’re waiting to meet with doctors.”

Likewise, Dave Meltzer also noted that Flair had just completed surgery. He said the Nature Boy’s kidneys are functioning and there are “no cancer issues”:

"“He’s out of surgery. It’s good that he’s out of surgery. It’s still real bad. I had it just told to me in some detail, not exactly identical, but very similar to what happened to my dad. However, his kidneys are functioning which is the main difference and no cancer issues.”"

Earlier Tuesday, on Instagram, Charlotte sent out some love for all the fans, thanking them for support at this difficult time. She posted this photo of her with Ric and other family members:

This must be an incredibly hard time for Charlotte. However, if there’s one positive she can take out of this, it’s how much love and support the WWE fans have for her and her father. Keep your head up, Charlotte, we’re sure the jet flying son-of-a-gun won’t give up!
