An appearance from the former ROH World Champion just became much more likely at WWE NXT TakeOver.

Via a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, the former 3 time ROH World Champion, Adam Cole has signed with WWE and will be a part NXT.  When this was announced speculation of an Adam Cole appearance ran rampant. Now it appears that Adam Cole showing up at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III is a near certainty.

Earlier Friday, Satin also reported that Cole was spotted at the airport on the way to Brooklyn with the NXT roster. In the photo, he can be seen along side other NXT Superstars like Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong.

While an appearance isn’t confirmed for the show, Cole will be in Brooklyn. We’ve seen Superstars like Asuka, Kota Ibushi, both halves of Brooklyn’s, main event Bobby Roode and Drew McIntyre appear at ringside before making their eventual in ring debuts. Could the same idea be in the works for Cole at this Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III?

In something that has been rumored for months, will we finally see Adam Cole (BayBay) in Brooklyn? Cole is a former 3 time ROH Champion, a one time ROH Television Champion and a former PWG World Champion. Last year, following the WWE Draft, NXT’s roster was gutted. The developmental system that is considered a third brand took a hit. Now, NXT is back to its prominence and new signees like Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish could be the shot in the arm to take the brand to a new level.
