WWE SummerSlam 2017 Kickoff Show Live Stream: Watch Online
The Biggest Party of the Summer is upon us. Before it starts, WWE Network will air the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show.
SummerSlam is this Sunday night, but before WWE airs its second-biggest four-hour extravaganza of the year, they’ll get things started with a two-hour Kickoff Show on WWE Network.
WWE has made it extremely evident in recent years that they view SummerSlam as the clear winner for being the most important show of the year, after WrestleMania. This will be the third straight year that the summertime show emanates from Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center. WWE announced this week that they will return to the venue for SummerSlam Weekend in 2018.
As has been the case since SummerSlam originally arrived in Brooklyn, the Kickoff Show will be a two-hour edition that will break down all the matches on the main card. This year’s Kickoff will also feature three big matches, including two title matches.
Following his huge win on Monday’s Raw, Akira Tozawa will defend his WWE Cruiserweight Championship for the first time, as the former champion Neville gets his rematch. This should be a victory for Tozawa, to get him going on his reign.
The other title match will put the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on the line, as The New Day defend against The Usos. Expect The New Day to get the win in front of a Brooklyn crowd that always seems to be on their side.
Finally, Jason Jordan will team with The Hardy Boyz to take on The Miz and The Miztourage of Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Jordan and The Hardy Boyz got the win in this same match on Monday, and it’s very likely they’ll do it again tonight.
