By Dj Beal
A look at what went down on Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
Tonight’s GFW Impact Wrestling show is the first after Eli Drake won the championship last week. He won the title in a gauntlet match and now it is his time. There are plenty of challengers looking to put their name in to be Global Champion. Tonight, Johnny Impact and Eddie Edwards team up in the main event against Chris Adonis and Eli Drake. The winner becomes the number one contender for the Global Championship.
Ohio Versus Everything faces their first test in Impact Wrestling. Dave and Jake Crist face off against Mario Bokara and Fallah Bahh. This is their first true major competitors as Bahh and Bokara have won titles all around the world. OVE is undefeated so far but either way, new competitors can always be a positive for the new team.
Petey Williams makes his singles return to Impact Wrestling. It has been eight years since Williams has been in singles action in an Impact ring. His opponent is Caleb Konley who he had an encounter with at Destination X as Konley tried to help out Trevor Lee. This could be Konley main chance at making a name for himself against an X-Division original.
Kongo Kong continues his destructive behavior but may have found his match. LAX plans to put an end to the Cowboy James Storm. Also, Lashley discusses his future in wrestling. It seems like Dan Lambert and he are on opposite sides of the spectrum. This and more on this week’s Impact Wrestling Review.
