1. Kevin Owens Heats Things Up With Shane McMahon

We saw AJ Styles pull a legitimate four-star match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33, and perhaps the WWE was so impressed with the showing that they want to see if Kevin Owens can replicate the same success with Shane O’Mac.

Owens has already lambasted Shane for “screwing” him out of multiple matches with AJ Styles, whom he’s no longer allowed to compete against for the United States Championship. It’s been clear ever since Owens joined the blue brand and started cutting harsh promos on Shane’s “Land of Opportunity” that these two are destined for a program.

As we saw at the Royal Rumble and throughout his career on the independent circuit, Owens is a master at hardcore matches, and McMahon is the same way. These two could tear down the house at Hell in a Cell, perhaps even stealing the show from the WWE Championship match.

Whatever the case, it’s time to start really escalating the tension between these two, and it needs to start getting physical; we’ve seen enough jaw-jacking between these two. The Styles vs. McMahon match started to come into focus when Styles smashed Shane’s face into a limousine window, and I wonder how Owens will make a statement against the SmackDown Live commissioner.
