The WWE NXT title pictures provide even more interesting storylines. Who will Drew McIntyre defend his title against next? Roderick Strong? Or will the stable of Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish have something to say about that? Any development on the front of this new “Ring of Honor” stable will be critical, so fans will be on close lookout for any sign of those three competitors.
Meanwhile, the title worth watching the closest is the NXT Women’s Championship. Who will take over for Asuka, and what hurdles will these women have to jump through in order to get there? And will the winner have to defend her title against the winner of the Mae Young Classic?
Ember Moon dazzled in her match with Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, but could someone like Peyton Royce or Nikki Cross come in to steal the title? It’s anyone’s game at this point, and it will be interesting to see what types of match(es) William Regal announces for the women.
Johnny Gargano is in a position to become the biggest babyface in NXT, and the match he pulled with Andre “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver was simply sublime. Will we get to see more of Gargano in action tonight? Will he get a chance to avenge that loss, or will he move on to a different opponent? Gargano’s story should end up being one of the best-written plotlines in NXT TV over the next several months, and the journey is in its fledgling stages.
All of this and much more could be solved tonight on WWE NXT, so be sure to tune in and follow along here for the latest updates.
