5. Emma snatches an upset win

The Fatal-Four-way match for the Raw Women’s Title has plenty of bad blood among the competitors. Banks has plenty of beef to pick with Alexa Bliss; so does Nia Jax. However, the one person who is in it for their own sake is Emma. Emma doesn’t necessarily fit into the title picture. Nor was she a potential number one contender in recent times. On the flip side, everyone else has been in the title scene a lot lately.

Banks had yet another underwhelming title reigns. Bliss continues to deliver atop the division and Nia Jax is going places just for being herself. For months, she has been portrayed as an unstoppable force of nature. On the other end of this spectrum lies Emma. She has had very little momentum on the main roster despite being a great heel. However, that might be just enough reason to think she might pick up the biggest win of her career at WWE No Mercy 2017.

Emma and Jax secured their entry into the title match after defeating Banks and Bliss in a tag match. While Jax did most of the work, it was Emma who finally got the winning pin, albeit stealing Jax’s spotlight. There is no reason to think this wouldn’t happen again. Being the afterthought of the match, she could easily be the opportunistic heel at play here. Aside from the obvious, there are other angles that could play off from this decision as well.

First and foremost, we know that Ronda Rousey has reportedly challenged Charlotte, during the Mae Young Classic. Creative might be working towards a match between the Four Horsewomen of the WWE and MMA at Survivor Series perhaps. Seeing as Banks could be an integral part of this match, she needs to be kept away from the title. In addition, we now know that Asuka would be debuting on Raw soon.

Emma would make for an excellent interim champion until then. Then, when the time comes, Asuka could pick up from where she left off in NXT and snatch the title away from her. Seeing as how dominating Nia Jax has been booked so far, one couldn’t expect her to job out to Asuka. Emma on the other hand could potentially handle that kind of damage. Keep an eye out for her at No Mercy.
