What could happen at WWE No Mercy 2017 when the Monster Among Men collide with the Beast Incarnate in singles action for the first time ever in history?
WWE No Mercy 2017 is merely a week away from us and one couldn’t be any more excited for the PPV. The event would feature two main-event worthy matches that are both first time ever, in their own rights. However, after an above average edition of WWE Raw, there wouldn’t be any more doubt as to what the true main event of the night would be. Cena’s absence hurt the build towards his match with Roman Reigns.
On the other hand, a stellar satellite interview segment had us all on the edge of our seats for Strowman vs. Lesnar. There were two notable takeaways from this brilliant segment. The first was the intensity and the clarity with which Strowman delivered his promo. He was clearly the over-confident and dominating monster heel. The second was the fire this evoked in Lesnar and the way he ended the segment with a stern warning. For once, it felt like finally WWE has come up with someone who actually motivates Lesnar in the ring. He was no longer his stone-faced persona. This was a Brock Lesnar who was hungry for revenge and retribution.
Seeing as how motivated Lesnar is at this point in time, I couldn’t help but wish creative would place him in chase mode. If Strowman were to win the title this Sunday, we would then bear witness to the next evolution of the Beast Incarnate perhaps. However, that might not necessarily be the outcome at No Mercy. Here are our top 3 predictions for the outcome of this monstrous main event.
