By Dj Beal
It’s the Last Show Until Victory Road
Tonight’s Impact Wrestling show is basically the go home show for next week’s Victory Road broadcast. Johnny Impact is not pleased after the way he was treated by the GFW Global Champion Eli Drake. This would lead to him looking for ways to prove himself too. He would have two unlikely challengers battle him tonight. Both men would have chances at the number one contender’s spot for Global Force Wrestling’s top prize.
A simple singles match between Taya Valkyrie and Ava Storie would define next week’s Knockout’s action. Valkyrie is continuing to show her worth in the Knockout’s Championship picture. As she continues to pile up wins, it is bound that Sienna will catch wind of her but next week there’s a match set that will feature more than just Sienna and Valkyrie.
Eli Drake defends his GFW Global Championship at the AAA promotion. He wants to prove to Johnny Impact how a Global Champion operates. He is in Impact’s home where Impact holds most of the championship. Eli Drake wants to make sure that wins in the wheel house of Johnny Impact.
OVE and LAX looking to finish business in Mexico as they set up a bout at Victory Road. Moos gives his thoughts on everything going on with Lashley versus wrestling. Finally, Mahabali Shera tries to take down a beast in Kongo Kong. Last week, he looked good against him but when in a match with Kong, it’s a whole different story.
This and more and tonight’s Impact Wrestling Review.
