WWE No Mercy 2017: Worst Performers From The PPV

1 of 4

Who were the worst performers from WWE No Mercy 2017, a PPV that could not capitalize on the hype it carried?

Another PPV is behind us as WWE No Mercy 2017 concluded in a rather underwhelming fashion. There wasn’t anything that we hadn’t seen before. The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar stood tall to close out the show. A fallen Braun Strowman carried with him the sigh and disappointment of the entire WWE universe. However, that wouldn’t be the only time the PPV failed to deliver when it mattered the most.

When a PPV that boasted two WrestleMania main event worthy matches end on a low note, you know there is something seriously wrong with it. Moreover, on a night when the said matches underwhelmed and the tag team title bout stole the night, creative has to rethink which four superstars actually deserve to be in the spot light at the moment. Rollins, Ambrose, Cesaro and Sheamus stole the show last night with a stellar match. From Cesaro’s legitimate toughness to Ambrose’s gutsy babyface persona, everything was just brilliant in the match.

Perhaps, this night would serve as a nod to the creative, to book these men properly. However, this post does not intend to mock any of the performers from last night. If anything, professional wrestlers deserve respect for what they put their bodies through, to entertain us. However, being an opinionated writer, I just had to point out things that did not pan out the way they should have. When a wrestler who is talented does not do a good job in the ring, it needs to be pointed out.
