With No Mercy in the rearview mirror, WWE SmackDown now takes center stage with the Hell in a Cell Pay Per View set for Oct. 8.

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live should further the rivalry between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon, which remained as sinister as ever last week. Shane proclaimed that he will take Owens to “Hell”, since their match will take place inside of the Hell in a Cell. Owens retorted that people like him are destined to go to “Heaven”, as he apologized to Vince, blaming the attack on his son.

The rivalry between those two has been turned up to “11”, but so have other rivalries on the SmackDown roster. Charlotte Flair won a Fatal Four-Way to become Natalya’s No. 1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and this was after “Nattie” interrupted Charlotte’s heartfelt message to the WWE Universe following her father’s brush with death.

Elsewhere on “The Blue Brand”, Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura are currently battling for the WWE Championship, but it’s currently cemented as the worst feud in the WWE. The racist promos given to Jinder in each of the past two weeks have given the creative team some serious heat, and wrestling fans have to feel embarrassed at the sort of drivel that Vince is pumping out. This is supposed to be one of the biggest feuds in the WWE, yet it feels like a joke. Will the WWE rectify their wrongs, will they double-down, or will they outright ignore it?

Here are five predictions for this upcoming episode of SmackDown Live.
