What were the biggest questions from both WWE Raw and SmackDown Live this week?

An eventful week in the WWE went past by us. The week would feature No Mercy PPV as well as the weekly Raw and SmackDown Live episodes. Throw in the regular programming featuring 205 Live and NXT and you have plenty of action to dissect. A lot has happened over the week whether you are a casual fan or a hardcore fan. From John Cena’s emotional outing at the end of his match with Roman Reigns to Strowman getting pinned after a single F5, anything and everything can be a point of discussion.

Though continuity is not something the WWE creative often takes pride in, certain things need to remain consistent. It is often the small details that often lead to the biggest storylines. Take the case of Curt Hawkins for example. Ever since creative began to take advantage of his losing streak, there has been an increased attention to him. The end-game would be a highly rewarding victory for Hawkins, hopefully.

This week saw the rise of Enzo Amore to the top of the Cruiserweight division. It also saw Alister Black from NXT address the audience for the first time ever. Black might be the most charismatic and mysterious superstar ever since the Undertaker. That spot used to belong to Wyatt. But 50-50 booking has plagued him for too long. As such, Black might take over Wyatt’s crown sooner than later.

Do not forget SmackDown Live either. The Blue Brand has been really building up its mid-card with solid matches and feuds. The main event scene though, is a mess. Mahal vs Nakamura has had zero heat and zero investment from the fans except when Nakamura kicks somebody. However, Kevin Owens and AJ Styles more than makes up for it with their stellar matches and promos. Owens vs Shane might be one of the more surprisingly hottest program on the Blue Brand.

With so much happening over the WWE, what are the biggest questions from this week? I have made sure to address the biggest questions from all of the shows. As such, some of the smaller questions, like what is next for Braun Strowman has not made it to this list. That is only because we know Strowman will continue to kick ass and also because there are bigger questions to address, regarding the grander scheme of things.
