WWE Raw: 5 Stars From The Show

1 of 6

Who were the biggest stars from WWE Raw this week? Which performers made the most of their opportunities this week? Here are our top picks.

WWE Raw aired from the Pepsi Center in Denver this week. The show was exceptionally good this week and had more matches built into it rather than the usual bag of promos. When Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman kick off the in-ring action right away, you know you are in for a good night of actual wrestling from the WWE. The show did not disappoint us in that regard.

Even a throwaway match like Elias vs. Titus O’Neil had a sense of urgency to it. For a moment, it felt like the performers actually believed they were doing something worthwhile for once. Though, the animosity shown during the match felt forced, it was still a decent outing for everybody involved. Roman Reigns would continue to put out standout bouts inside the ring. He continued the trend this week against The Miz. Speaking of the Miz, how good has he been recently?

The women’s division too benefited from two different matches and a backstage segment this week on Raw. However, I wasn’t really amused by the idea of calling Mickie James an old woman. She is just 39 years old and is still kicking it in the ring. On a night with such a stacked card filled to the brim with talented performers, picking out five stars is really an easy job. Or so I thought.

The fact is, every one of those performers did their job this past Monday. Omitting anyone from this list would be an injustice to them. However, after much nitpicking and deliberation I’ve come up with the five superstars who made the most of their outing.
