WWE Raw: Who Is Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail?

Bray Wyatt has talked about her so long, and he is finally going to show her to the world on WWE Raw, but who really is Sister Abigail?

In the lead up to WrestleMania 33, Bray Wyatt was embroiled in a feud with Randy Orton over the WWE Championship. They were, at one point, considered “family” until Orton betrayed Wyatt.

Randy Orton turned his back on Bray Wyatt in the most dramatic way possible. He went to The Wyatt Compound, stuck a crucifix in the grave of Sister Abigail, and set the entire place on fire much to the dismay of Bray Wyatt.

However, despite Orton burning the grave of Sister Abigail, Bray Wyatt still claims that she is alive. In a promo directed at Finn Bálor, Bray Wyatt claimed to have his own demons in the form of Sister Abigail, and he said that he wanted to introduce her to Finn.

So, after four years of hearing about this Sister Abigail character, will the WWE Universe finally get to see her. Well, that probably will not happen. According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer, along with other sources, Bray Wyatt will be revealing Sister Abigail as his alter ego. This would be similar to Finn’s Demon King alter ego.

Does this mean that we will see Bray Wyatt dress up in drag for his next match against Finn? Will he be wearing face paint similar to that of Bálor’s? Both options seem like they would be odd fits for Bray Wyatt, so let’s investigate some other options.

Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail could actually be alive and could be portrayed by a woman in WWE. Paige has been posting about her come back to WWE, and she has been making steady progress. She has that grungy look that could pass as a Wyatt Family member, and it could be a petty slap to the face of Alberto Del Rio to have her paired up with another man upon her return.

Another person set to come to Raw is the undefeated Asuka. Bray Wyatt will be revealing Sister Abigail at TLC, and Asuka is debuting at TLC, so Asuka could end up being Sister Abigail. While it seems like a weird pairing at first, this could be very beneficial for Asuka to have Bray as her mouthpiece.

A couple of outside options for the role would be Bray Wyatt’s actual sister, Mika Rotunda, but that seems like a long shot. Another option would be Sage Beckett, a competitor in the Mae Young Classic, who posted this cryptic message after Wyatt’s promo about Abigail.

Other than the possibilities that Sister Abigail is alive or within Bray, another explanation could just be that Bray has gone crazy. In his promos declaring Sister Abigail’s existence, Bray was completely off his rocker instead of maintaining his usual composure.

This could just lead to Bray showing the world Sister Abigail…but only he can see her. It could lead to some very weird and entertaining TV with Bray Wyatt talking to someone that he thinks is there, and it could actually make his constant babbling bearable.

Of course, these are all just guesses, and it looks like WWE is leaning towards the alter ego angle for Bray and Sister Abigail, but it would still be pretty cool to see Sister Abigail personified after hearing her name for four years.
