WWE TLC 2017: 3 Booking Decisions That Will Hurt The PPV

1 of 4

The Shield is finally reunited and will take on the team of The Miz, The Bar and Braun Strowman in a blockbuster match at WWE TLC 2017, so what is the problem?

After the last episode of Raw, the WWE TLC 2017 match card is starting look clearer. There will be Bray Wyatt (and/or Sister Abigail?) against Finn Bálor, Emma vs. the debuting Asuka, Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto for the Cruiserweight Championship, Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James for the Raw Women’s Championship, and the colossal main event of The Shield taking on The Miz, The Bar, and Braun Strowman.

That is only five matches so far, so there will likely be one or two more thrown in there by the time TLC comes around. Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan have been feuding with Karl Anderson, and Titus Worldwide has been feuding with Elias, so those feuds will probably come to an end at TLC.

It looks like a solid card, but there is a notable absence that stands out. Brock Lesnar will not be appearing on the show to defend his WWE Universal Championship. Regardless, the creative team has reunited The Shield to make the main event remain important to the fans.

So, there are some unique and interesting matches here, but a lot of them have been booked into a corner, and it may be difficult to put on a good PPV that will leave the fans happy and the Superstars’ credibility in tact.

Here are the three booking decisions that are going to hurt TLC.
