What were the five worst moments in the week of WWE television programming?

Since beginning this weekly summary two weeks ago, WWE television, ironically, had gotten pretty good. On all four weekly shows, the majority of the content was solid. Between strong in-ring performances, to cutting edge promos, and some compelling story lines, there was a chance that this weekly feature may have had a pretty short shelf-life.

But just when things were trending in the right direction for the company, the most recent week of programming took a bit of a step back, if ever so slightly. The biggest issues took place on the premiere shows, Raw and SmackDown Live where it seemed like some old, bad habits came out of the woodwork once again. Predictable victories, repetitive rivalries not moving in the forward direction, and some awkward microphone work plagued some key moments in the five hours of the red and blue brand shows.

Now, let’s not get it mixed up. There were certainly some great moments this week as well. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens getting back together, The Shield reunion, and an incredible Johnny Gargano/Andrade Almas showdown on NXT capped off what was a solid week in WWE TV, albeit one that was wasn’t quite on par with the last two.

I’m gathering you want specifics? Good. Ahead we breakdown the five worst moments from WWE programming from the week that was.
