WWE Rumors: The Shield To Have Original Entrance At TLC 2017?

Last Monday night on Raw, The Shield made their triumphant comeback as a group, in turn generating a match at WWE TLC that led many to speculate if the company would be brining back their original entrance music.

For those that have been living under a rock, yes, The Shield are finally back, and no, you can’t stop fanboying. The group made their return last Monday night on WWE TV, first interrupting two thirds of The Miztourage and The Bar, and then laying out Braun Storwman – in true Shield fashion – with a wicked triple power bomb.

However, one thing felt different, dare I say wrong. The Shield’s theme music was nowhere to be heard. The grungy, yet catchy theme wasn’t played during or following their beatdowns – just Roman Reigns’s rip-off version. Are WWE saving the theme music for a special occasion?

Well, that may be the case. According to Cageside Seats’s rumour roundup, it’s expected that WWE will be saving the entrance through the crowd for their TLC match. This is their classic Shield entrance, walking through the crowd and getting the fans drenched in baby oil. Perhaps, this means the music will come with the crowd entrance, but we’ll have to wait for TLC.

So it appears we’re getting a full-blown Shield reunion, with the music, the entrance, and, quite possibly, the outfits. The latter is yet to be confirmed. However, if WWE are going to lengths of making it special, they should gear them up to look the same to make the nostalgia pop even louder.

The jury’s still out on how long the group will be together, although some rumors suggest that ‘the brothers’ won’t be around come next year, so it does makes sense why the company are “going all out” while they can.

All in all, the reaction to The Shield (so far) has been positive. And that includes Roman Reigns. Even though we’re in the very early days, you have to say that it’s been a good start. Hopefully, that trend will continue tonight on Raw.
