The Oct.19 WWE SmackDown Live had some fantastic segments. But which were the best?

WWE SmackDown Live feels like it’s back to form following a series of lackluster weeks in August and early September. The post-Hell in a Cell fallout last week was remarkably good and the momentum mostly carried into this week.

Mostly.

Don’t get me wrong, the show was great and the booking, for the most part, clicked. I would have liked them to continue showcasing the depth of the tag team division like they did last week (re-watch last week’s multi-team tag match if you don’t recall how many great tag teams SmackDown Live has). I also feel that most of the women’s division is craving for direction. Not as badly as on Raw, where the situation is getting close to desperate, but the ladies should be able to better showcase themselves on a weekly basis.

But I’ll leave the wrestling analysis to the other fine, talented folks at Daily DDT, because right now I am here to round up the top five best segments from last night’s episode of SmackDown Live. The show has a tradition of producing good, well thought out stories with capable segments to tell those stories. Will it be the case again today?

For the most part, yeah. Yeah, it will.
