3. The X-Division Was Given Its Proper Spotlight

Dezmond Xavier and Andrew Everett is a match made to be match of the night.  Xavier won the Super X Cup a month ago and it looked to be a launching pad.  He hasn’t been seen much but since last week, it seems like he will be in the title picture finally.  Although we all want Xavier, fans haven’t forgotten about Matt Sydal either.

Xavier wants to amaze the fans with his aerial abilities in the ring but the Cult of Lee will not allow it.  The numbers game gave Andrew Everett control unless the match was in the middle of the ring.  When Xavier was able to stay away from the Cult of Lee, he was firmly in control.  He even took the time to take them out with one of the best dives in the business.  Trevor Lee tries to use his championship to distract Xavier but he still gets the victory.  Dezmond Xavier defeats Trevor Lee with a handspring pele kick.

This match was amazing even with outside interference.  The set up of the battle between Dezmond Xavier and Trevor Lee is forming shape.  They will probably fight for the title at Bound for Glory hopefully in an Ultimate X match.  This could be the match that steals the show on November 5.  Next week, Trevor Lee defends his X-Division Championship in AAA.
