Welcome to the Smackdown Division Rankings for the Oct. 24 episode. Randy Orton squared off with Sami Zayn to determine who will be on the Survivor Series team.

These are the Smackdown Live rankings for each division for this following week. Each division would be ranked based on storyline progression and win/loss record as of 2017. Also each division would be divided by contenders and pretenders, to differentiate the challengers in their respective division. I’ll also highlight a specific superstar in each division and explain their ranking based on their actions. Win/Loss record is provided by CageMatch.Net.

Each superstar or tag team can move up or down the rankings based on victory, defeat or storyline progression. Let’s get right to the rankings.

The Smackdown Live Women’s Division

Highlights of the division

Natalya versus Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series might be intriguing if both champions have been booked properly the past few months. Natalya hasn’t really had a standout moment as champion and having her disrupt the fatal-5 way match on Smackdown Live with the ring announcer touting her accomplishments will do nothing for her. In order for people to be invested in this Survivor Series match, the Smackdown Women’s Champion will need to bring the heat to Alexa Bliss.

She must show everyone that Bliss isn’t in the same league as her. Natalya will need to bring the fight to the Raw Women’s Champion as well. Have her ambush the Raw champ in a public setting to show the world she’ll do whatever she takes to be victorious at Survivor Series. Natalya is in need of a big moment as champion and pushing the needle to those type of drastic directions is necessary for anybody to give a damn about this high-profile matchup.

Becky Lynch being the team captain of the Survivor Series team is a no-brainer. She’s always been positioned on-screen as a locker room leader for the women so I’m glad she’ll get that opportunity next month. She’ll be leading a formidable team but they won’t be the favourite in that huge match. Raw boasts contenders like Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Asuka so it’s hard to see Smackdown beating a proposed team like that. But if Smackdown is going to pull the impossible and score an upset win at Survivor Series, having Becky Lynch lead that upset will be an awesome sight.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
