Kenny Omega Had A Great Diss Of Roman Reigns

Kenny Omega, one of the three best wrestlers on the planet today, has been busy feuding with Chris Jericho on Twitter. These exchanges have included some excellent disses of the WWE and promotions outside of the “E”, but Roman Reigns recently found himself in the crossfire.

The battle on the Internet between the Bullet Club and the WWE rages on, but there isn’t a more compelling Twitter war (OK, besides Hulk Hogan vs. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake) than the one between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. Omega, who is one NJPW’s top stars and their United States Champion, and Jericho, who is technically a free agent but has most recently been the United States Champion in the WWE, could be building towards a big feud of their own in the future.

After a follower on Twitter jokingly told Omega that he can take solace in the fact that, unlike Jericho, he’s never lost to Roman Reigns, WWE’s top “babyface” (if I can even bring myself to call him one), Omega came up with this brutal diss of “The Big Dog”.

Reigns is no stranger to getting dissed by a “Bullet Club” member, because he recently had a little back-and-forth with Ring of Honor World Champion and former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes. The argument stemmed from an ROH promo that Cody cut, in which “The American Nightmare” called himself the biggest draw in the world. Cody then said, “I thought that tactical vest was just covering up failed drug tests,” after Reigns called him out. It’s basically both wrestlers playing up to their arrogant personas on the screen, because I’m willing to bet there’s mutual respect there.

The same goes for Omega and Reigns, but this diss was funny. It also stings, because it’s true; pretty much everyone on the roster gets fed to Reigns at some point. Finn Balor wasn’t even safe, because the WWE made sure that the first-ever Universal Champion would lose to Reigns in a random match on Raw after his return from an injury post-WrestleMania.

The feud between Omega and Jericho might be the best thing going outside of the ring right now, because even the typical “WWE vs. NJPW” disses are hilarious. These two are gold, and we’ll see if Jericho (or even Reigns) decides to conjure up a response to the IWGP U.S. Champ.
