Report: Samoa Joe Making His Return Tonight On WWE Raw

Samoa Joe, who was out with a knee injury, is expected to make his return tonight on WWE Raw.

The ‘Samoan Badass’ has been missing from our screens since August 26th, when he suffered an injury during a WWE live event. At that point, the rumors suggested that he wouldn’t be out for long – just three to four weeks was the initial timeline.

However, as well all know, Joe hasn’t been back. In this case, it seems like the injury hasn’t been the issue, but it’s more about where to fit him in on Raw.

But don’t you worry, according to a new report from PWInsider, Joe is expected to return this evening on the flagship show.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson confirmed that Joe was expected back this month, as well as saying that ‘The Destroyer’ is in Baltimore for tonight’s show,

So, what does this mean for Joe? At this moment in time, he isn’t involved in any rivalry, as it seems at if the storylines have evolved very quickly following his time off. Therefore, you’d expect to see him inserted into either another feud or to be a part of the Raw team that will take on SmackDown Live at Survivor Series.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing him inserted into the mix in this brand versus brand rivalry. Of course, Raw will have plenty of ‘muscle’ on their team, but Joe offers something different. And if plugged into the match, he would likely make it feel even more special.

On a different note, inserting him into that match also takes care of a potential re-injury. The match won’t have to be as strenuous as a one-on-one affair for him. Plus, the match will most definitely be high on the card — where Joe belongs.
