A new report released today (October 30th) reveals WWE’s plans for the men’s WWE Survivor Series match-up.

This is your warning for spoilers ahead. Below are details for the upcoming WWE Survivor Series event, and if you don’t want to know, simply click away.

According to a new report released today by PWInsider, on their Elite section – where they break exclusive news – Mike Johnson revealed the plans for the men’s Survivor Series match. He noted, that Kurt Angle will be wrestling at next month’s event.

As well as revealing the Olympic gold medalist’s inclusion, Johnson also revealed the full list of Superstars on each team. Again, if you’ve read far enough and don’t want to be spoiled, click away. That’s your warning.

The Raw team will boast Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle, and Samoa Joe (who is reportedly making his return tonight). Reigns seems like a logical choice, however, he is currently out, which could lead to confusion. Conversely, Johnson mentioned that the plan of having him involved is all contingent on his status after a viral infection. Johnson was told that Reigns was currently under medical care, and he’s doing better, but he still has to finish getting over “whatever illness befell him”, as well as recover and get back in shape to wrestle.

The SmackDown Live team will include Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Shane McMahon, and AJ Styles. All men should be fit to go without any issues.

It’s worth noting that these are the plans as of right now, and of course, knowing WWE, they could change – but from all accounts, this looks solid.

And yes, the narrative will be Angle vs. Shane, GM vs. Commissioner — as both men aged over 40 will captain their respective sides. And finally, yes, it will be awesome. Expect to see the start of something tonight on Raw. No, not a lame invasion, but the start of Angle leading his team and showing more motivation.
