WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: Shinsuke Nakamura Overcomes

This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will feature a match between Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura for a spot on the Survivor Series team.

SmackDown Live made a statement last week on Monday Night Raw when Shane McMahon led many of his superstars as they put the “Red Brand” #UnderSiege. Shane led a savage beatdown of the Raw locker room, showing Kurt Angle that his side is all business as we head into November’s Survivor Series pay per view.

Before then, Shane still needs to pick his five team members for both the men’s and women’s team. Last week, Becky Lynch defeated all the other women on the roster, save for Lana, to become the captain. Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn despite interference from Kevin Owens, who will also get a chance to squeeze onto Shane’s team if he is able to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura tonight.

Hopefully we’ll also learn who will be joining Becky on #TeamSmackDown on the women’s side, and I have a feeling it could be a heel like Carmella. We already know Natalya won’t be on the team while representing the “Blue Brand” in a champion vs. champion match with either Alexa Bliss or Mickie James, so it will be interesting to see which women vie for a spot tonight.
