WWE 5 Burning Questions: Will Brock Lesnar Invade SmackDown Live?
By Tom Thomas
What were the biggest questions left behind by the stars of WWE Raw and SmackDown Live this week?
WWE continued to build towards Survivor Series with more qualifying matches on the card. Monday night marked itself as a night of returns as Samoa Joe, Nia Jax, Stephanie McMahon and Braun Strowman made their returns to live TV. The show also continued to build Kane as a monster, perhaps to feed him to the Monster Among Men later on. Regardless, opting to have him defeat the likes of Rollins and Balor is always questionable.
Elsewhere on the show though, Kurt Angle has been named as the captain of Team Raw. He will be joined by the recently turned babyface Braun Strowman. The remaining three positions are yet to be filled. But it is easy to imagine the likes of Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Roman Reigns filling those spots.
On Tuesday night though, creative tied up more loose ends. Shane McMahon announced himself as the captain on Team Blue. We also learned he would be joined by Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton. That leaves Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as literal wild cards heading into Survivor Series. The Women’s division teams too began taking shape on both sides. Team Blue will have an uphill task going up against Nia Jax.
What were the biggest questions from the week though? There was plenty of points to dissect from both shows. As we head closer towards Survivor Series, here are the top five questions from this week.
