What were the biggest questions the superstars of WWE Raw and SmackDown left in the ring as we head towards Survivor Series?

WWE did all that they could and some more to hype the upcoming Survivor Series PPV on Sunday. Both Raw and SmackDown Live created an intriguing sequence of events to build anticipation for the annual extravaganza. Which brand did a better job is subject to arguments. However, almost everyone would agree that Raw’s invasion of the Blue brand was much more emphatic.

On Monday night, the Shield made their intentions clear as they challenged the New Day. Roman Reigns, in somewhat of a prophetic voice also told Stephanie McMahon, ‘We do what we want to do’. Whether those words have any further impact remains to be seen on Sunday. For the moment, we do know that the Shield hasn’t forgiven The Bar. However, the biggest moment of the night came when the Game Triple H returned. The Cerebral Assassin would replace the injured Jason Jordan. The entire segment could either catapult Jordan to something of relevance or it could bury him forever. However, Jordan’s character work was good, if not great.

On Tuesday night, things began quietly and picked up the pace eventually. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are obviously frustrated about not being on the card this year. Moreover, the heel duo showed that they have zero brand loyalty. Things heated up towards the end when the Shield laid waste to the New Day and Shane McMahon, much like the good old days. Angle got the last laugh in this build up towards the battle of the brands.

The main roster wasn’t the only place of interest though. NXT continued to build towards the upcoming WarGames PPV. The developmental brand ensured to raise some intriguing questions on the way. What were the biggest questions from the week though? Here are my picks.
