WWE Rumors: The Miz And Becky Lynch To Return In ‘Early January’

The WWE wrote off Becky Lynch and The Miz from television for several weeks, as the two will be filming the Marine 6. When should fans of both superstars expect to see them back in action?

Recently, The Miz dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Roman Reigns, and he received the beating of a lifetime at the hands of the Shield following the loss. The brutal encounter was a means of writing The Miz off of television, because he will be shooting “The Marine 6”.

Becky Lynch is another one of the stars of “The Marine 6”, and the WWE also wrote her off of TV by having her take a savage beatdown. She was ambushed backstage by the “Riott Squad”, which is comprised of Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan. That segment was especially savage, as Becky sold everything perfectly (as per the usual).

According to a rumor posted on Cageside Seats, both Lynch and The Miz are expected to return to television in “early January”.

The SmackDown Women’s Division will center around the Riott Squad, Carmella’s run with the briefcase, and the feud pitting Natalya and Charlotte Flair at the top of the division. By the time Lynch comes back, more pieces will have fallen into place, and there could even be a possible feud between Lynch and Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Meanwhile, there isn’t a pay per view involving Raw superstars until the Royal Rumble, so The Miz won’t be missing out on much action. There could be a dead period on Raw until the build for the Rumble kicks into gear, and The Miz will be back in the picture by then. While he is out, it will be interesting to see if Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel will have something to seek their teeth into, because they haven’t been doing much outside of being The Miz’s cronies.
