WWE had a week that focused more on wrestling. A lot more time on both shows were devoted to actual in-ring work than promo segments compared to the past. However, that did not hinder creative from progressing storylines and characters along the way. The biggest of them all was the Woken Matt Hardy who made his way to the WWE last week. He will now engage in an epic battle with the ‘Consumer of Terrestrial Entities’,

Elsewhere on Monday night, the Shield attempted to complete their quest for gold in unsuccessful fashion. The repercussions of this remains to be seen. Will Ambrose and Rollins blame Reigns for the distraction? Or will the group show more unity and punish the Bar and Samoa Joe? On Tuesday night though, things are heating up pretty fast.

Clash of Champions PPV is fast approaching. However, the card lacks buzz and electricity for the most part. But the one storyline that sets the PPV apart from the rest is Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against Shane McMahon. Despite being the heels, you somehow feel a drive to cheer for them, owing to their crafty ways and Shane’s visibly unfair treatment of the duo. At Clash of Champions, they now have the odds stacked against them with their job on the line.

Other performers like Braun Strowman, Rusev and Drew Gulak had an impressive outing too. Which five moments from the week tops the list though? Here are my picks without further delay.
