Who were the biggest stars from the latest edition of WWE Raw? Here are my top five picks from the night.
WWE Raw aired from Cleveland this week. Much like the previous week, the show took its time to get to high gear and advance storylines. The Shield was the focus of much of the action as well as creative decisions. The trio was heavily factored into the majority of the night in one way or the other. There were some excellent matches on the card as the Shield and the Bar along with Samoa Joe collided in singles action.
However, so much focus on one rivalry meant everything else took a hit. The sudden announcement that Strowman vs Kane match is now a number one contender’s match for the Universal title at Royal Rumble came out of the blue. Even baffling was the outcome of the match. Without a clear winner who will face Lesnar? Please don’t tell me it’s a triple threat with Kane in there. If you could do that much, why not add Finn Balor to the mix as well.
Speaking of Balor, it seems the leader of the Balor Club had another unnecessary altercation with the Miztourage, simply because creative can’t think up of anything worthwhile. It is simply disheartening to see Balor’s caliber and credibility being squandered like this. The women’s division too lacked any logic or cohesion. As such, there are no entrants from the division in this list. It was a cluttered mess that did not make any sense. With that said, who were the biggest stars from the night? Here are my top five superstars.
