Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Paige
Right now, in the Raw women’s division, it is all about Paige and her faction, Absolution. Ever since she arrived on the scene with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, they have been involved in ever single segment where there are women.
It seems that WWE has completely forgot about the Women’s Championship for now as the only focus is between Absolution and the rest of the women on Raw. This has kind of left Alexa Bliss to be forgotten about as Paige seems to be targeting Asuka instead.
However, in recent weeks, Alexa Bliss, finally decided to join the other women in fighting back against Absolution. So, this will probably lead to Paige being Alexa’s next challenger for the belt. I mean, it seems like the only logical choice after Alexa has already defended against Sasha, Bayley, and Mickie, and it’s too early for her to get involved with the undefeated Asuka.
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Ruby Riott
It seems that the two women’s divisions have been copying each other lately. In the same week, a new faction debuted on each show to cause chaos, and all of the women retaliated back against the factions in the same week, too.
So, I expect the copying to continue as we head into the Royal Rumble. While Alexa Bliss is busy defending her title against paige, Charlotte will have to deal with the leader of the Riott Squad. Ruby Riott has pinned Charlotte once (and got pinned once), so that feud will likely pay into the Royal Rumble.
There really isn’t any other choice to face Charlotte as Carmella is the Money in the Bank briefcase holder, Tamina has yet to prove herself, Natalya just lost her rematch, and the rest of the Riott Squad are just Ruby’s lackeys. So, the only heel left for Charlotte to face is Ruby.
