3. Becky Lynch

After filming the newest Marine movie alongside Shawn Michaels and The Miz, Becky has finally returned to SmackDown Live. That women’s division, despite the insurgence of The Riott Squad, has been dead lately.

Charlotte, the current champ, is desperate for a new challenger. While it seems shes destined to face Ruby Riott next, Riott is not yet at that star level that would warrant a Royal Rumble win and WrestleMania title match.

So aside from Ruby, there aren’t many choices to choose from for the blue brand. Natalya just faced Charlotte, Tamina and Lana aren’t close to championship level yet, Carmella is banking on Frankie (the briefcase) for a title shot, an then we have Naomi and Becky.

Out of the two, Becky is by far the bigger name with a better story to tell. Becky is arguably the truest babyface with her pure intentions, work ethic, innate charisma, and scrappy underdog charm. So, she could be the best bet for the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match as it would be able to set a good precedent as opposed to the somewhat terrible Money in the Bank ending.

Also, it would be an ultimate underdog story coming to fruition at WrestleMania. When it comes to titles and singles matches, Charlotte has always overshadowed her fellow Four Hosewomen member, Becky.

At WresleMania, Becky could finally overcome her biggest obstacle and regain the championship that alluded her. It would be such a great feel good WrestleMania moment for the women that it would be a shame if a certain Money in the Bank winner cashed in right after…
