4. Nia Jax
Nia Jax didn’t do much on Raw this week. In fact, she hasn’t done much between the rings as of late. Most of her time has been devoted to backstage segments with Enzo Amore (which am still getting used to) and Alexa Bliss. This week featured pretty much the same. Jax was with Enzo and then was seen in a segment with Bliss. The latter segment seemed more like high school drama and out-of-place in today’s WWE Women’s division.
Regardless, it led to her sneaking up on Asuka and attacking the Empress of Tomorrow. This was good for two reasons. Firstly, with the Royal Rumble so close, it creates a superb mini feud fans can attribute to as the build towards the historic Rumble match continues. Secondly, Jas Vs Asuka will be a great number one contender’s match.
It’s not every day you seem someone manhandle Asuka the way Jax did. It will be interesting to see how the Empress of Tomorrow react to this next week. Factor in Alexa Bliss who has been manipulating Jax to do her dirty work and a three-way feud over the title could be in the works for WrestleMania.
