Which Superstars will be able to capture WWE gold for the first time in their careers in 2018?

“Then. Now. Forever.” is a catchphrase used to describe WWE and it rings true as the product has carried on for decades without missing a beat. In order to do this, though, WWE needs to create new top stars and they do this by awarding up and comers with their first championships.

We saw this happen a lot throughout 2017. Cruiserweights Akira Tozawa and Enzo Amore both earned their first WWE titles as a part of 205 Live, Baron Corbin won the United States Championship despite losing his Money in The Bank Briefcase, and Jinder Mahal came out of nowhere with a run with the WWE Championship.

We also witnessed Naomi have her first two runs with SmackDown Women’s Championship, Good Brothers Gallows and Anderson win tag team gold, and Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne win the United Kingdom Championship.

Then, of course, we had several first time champions in NXT including Andrade Almas, Ember Moon, and SAnitY among others. There were so many first time champs in 2017, and we are bound to see more in 2018.

So, before I start this list, I am including NXT championships in this. So, there will be no Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Aiden English, Bobby Roode, or Samoa Joe on this list. However, there are five Superstars worthy of their first ever WWE title on this list!
