WWE Royal Rumble 2018 will present the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Who are the least likely surprise entrants for the historic match?

Since 1988, the Royal Rumble has been a January tradition. From the moment Bret Hart and Tito Santana locked up, the Rumble match itself has been one of WWE’s most unique attractions. It’s really a simple idea – a battle royal in reverse. But sometimes simple ideas change the world as we know it.

In recent years, fan speculation has centered around surprise entrants for the namesake match. Whether a debuting superstar (like AJ Styles in 2016), someone returning from injury unannounced (John Cena, 2008), or even a Hall of Famer or WWE Legend making a special appearance (Diesel multiple times), the unannounced participants are what many watch for.

The first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match is going to take place at the 2018 event. There are several names being bandied about for surprise entry. Many of those names are somewhat likely – names like Kelly Kelly or Trish Stratus returning, a debuting Candace LeRae or Ronda Rousey, or NXT superstars like Ember Moon or the Iconic Duo.

But as you can probably tell by my Bold Predictions for Raw every week, I’m not a fan of likely. I think outside the box as much as I possibly can. What fun is it to “predict” the sun rising in the east? I want to be the guy who says it’s going to snow in August – and walk out the door to flurries. That’s my sweet spot.

So here are three possible surprise entrants for the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble Match. They are the longest of long shots, but if one of them walks down the aisle I’ll look like the smartest man alive.
