There are still spots open in the Men’s Rumble at WWE Royal Rumble 2018, so which NXT superstars could fill those remaining entries?
The Royal Rumble is almost here, and I think it is safe to say all fans are anxious. Actually, I guess there is double the anxiety now that there’s double the Rumble matches.
So, why the anxiety? Well, there’s so much to anticipate that it’s unpredictable! Who will win? Who will eliminate who? Who will return? Who will debut? Who will be the ironman? Who will turn heel? Who will turn face? How will the crowd react? There’s so many possibilities!
While it’s impossible to correctly predict every entrant of the Royal Rumble, we do know that there’s always at least one or two surprise entrants in the match. Some of those surprise entrants could come in the form of current NXT Superstars.
NXT Superstars could appear in the Royal Rumble as a one off, or it could be a way to make their permanent main roster debut in a big way. It seems that, aside from the Monday and Tuesday after WrestleMania, there is no better time than the Royal Rumble for a debut.
It’s happened before, and it will likely happen again. We’ve seen Bo Dallas, Rusev, and just recently, Tye Dillinger all make their main roster debuts in Royal Rumble matches. So, as Goldberg would say: Who’s Next?
