The first ever women’s WWE Royal Rumble match will happen Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia. All of the world is watching to see what WWE will do.

Since Stephanie McMahon made the announcement that this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view would hold the very first women’s WWE Royal Rumble match, fans and analysts have been holding their breath, waiting for the company’s next move.

After the women’s Money in the Bank fiasco, the WWE Universe wants a safe and entertaining match, emphasizing the talent that the women in WWE boast.

While WWE is being criticized for developing the glass ceiling they claim they want to break, superstars are simply excited to be involved in history-in-the-making. With so many talented female superstars on the roster of both Raw  and SmackDown, the winner of the match is getting harder and harder to predict.

Will a newcomer solidify their presence? Will a top talent continue to blaze the trail? Will an outsider or sleeper win and scramble the division?

Regardless of who walks away with the win, we’re excited to be able to watch the record book fight. Here’s five moments we hope to see in this historical fight.
