Jeremy Borash, long time announcer, interviewer, and producer for Impact Wrestling has signed with WWE.

According to PW Insider, Impact Wrestling personality Jeremy Borash has left Impact and has signed with WWE. Borash has been a long time announcer and interviewer with the company. Borash was with Impact since it’s inception in 2002, and has worn many hats for the company over the years.

Borash is primarily known for announcing, ring announcing, and doing backstage interviews. Behind the scenes, Borash was involved in many parts of the live event production.

Having been a producer for the Broken Hardy segments, and the British Boot Camp, Borash was a significant part of Impact. Along with being a part of creative, social media, and being a person that the company has relied on for many things, it is safe to say that losing him to WWE is a significant loss to Impact.

Borash got his start in wrestling with WCW, doing their WCW Live radio shows in March of 1999, pioneering online streaming audio. Not long after the success of WCW Live, he appeared on air for the company, and eventually became a writer for Nitro and Thunder. After WCW closed its doors in 2001, Borash became an ambassador for WWA, and by 2002 was one of the initial staff members of Impact Wrestling (formerly TNA Wrestling).

In recent times, Borash has worn many hats at Impact, with his most visible position being the lead announcer. Borash was key in many aspects with the development of the Broken Hardy characters. His creative input, along with Matt, Jeff, and Reby, was essential in the success of the stories and shows. This is a major loss for Impact, but a gain for WWE and the Hardys.
