The Feb. 12 edition of WWE Raw was a very good show in terms of the most important factor of the world of sports entertainment, in-ring competition.

Last night’s WWE Raw focused heavily on in-ring work and was very successful in doing so.  The show was solid from start to finish and had some other positive non-wrestling moments as well.

With Elimination Chamber less than two weeks away, the red brand is coming along nicely on the road to WrestleMania.  With that being said, let’s take a look at five key takeaways from the Feb. 12 edition of WWE Raw.

5. Bayley Is Back

One could make the argument that Bayley was as good as any woman in the WWE when she made her main roster debut in 2016.  Her talent and in-ring ability have never wavered, but as of late, she hasn’t been in a good place.

Her feud with Alexa Bliss in 2017 did more harm than good and hurt her character tremendously.  The injury she suffered in the summer of 2017 didn’t help her either.  But finally, it appears as if Bayley is getting back on track, as was evident last night.

After an impressive night on the Feb. 5 edition of Raw, she followed it up last night with an even more impressive night when she battled Sasha Banks.  The hometown Bayley got a big reaction as she made her way to the ring, but what took place inside the ropes was the real story as these two former rivals put forth another high-level match.

It went back and forth for a while, but after a Bayley to Belly from the top rope, Bayley got the win over Banks.  Yes, she and Banks both got attacked by Nia Jax after the match, but the grand scheme of things is in the favor of Bayley.  Her character has finally gotten some legitimacy back and she is being put in key positions again to showcase her talent.

It might have taken a while, but it might be safe to say Bayley is officially back at the perfect time as the road to WrestleMania heats up.
