Last Wednesday, there was but only one tag team featured on WWE NXT television. So how does one manage to pull off rankings in such a context? By turning to food, of course.

Gentle reader, here I am once again this week with my WWE NXT Tag Team Power Rankings.

That’s right! Rankings for the tag teams based off of this week’s NXT. Do you remember all the tag team action that happened on Wednesday? Yeah, there was that one match… and then… that was it. Just one tag team match.

Boy-oh-boy, this is not an easy article to write.

If NXT is not going to feature the tag team division with more than one established tag team, how is a lowly (albeit passionate) wrestling writer like myself supposed to conjure up compelling thoughts in order to put these wrestlers over through a well thought-out and creatively written list?

Well, as the expression goes: when life gives you lemons, you bring milk to a temperature required to promote the growth of the bacteria so it can be converted into a solid and edible dairy product.

In other words, I’m going to compare the tag teams in my rankings to cheese. Different varieties of cheese that best represent these tag teams.

Don’t worry, the rankings are legit, even if I’m using 4 instead of 5 spots this week. But the content is going to be both creamy and melty and delicious. Come experience NXT Tag Team Rankings Au Gratin.
