The New Day vs. Chad Gable And Shelton Benjamin

Result: Xavier Woods pins Shelton Benjamin after a Shining Wizard

Grade: D+

This match doesn’t start to get good until Big E makes the hot tag, muscling around Chad Gable with some suplexes. But then Gable shows off his own strength, with a belly-to-belly suplex of his own on Big E.

The match ends with some more ref/tag shenanigans against Gable and Benjamin, as Xavier Woods hits Shelton Benjamin with a Shining Wizard out of nowhere for an unsatisfying finish. Gable and Benjamin have lost to the New Day in back-to-back weeks, and it looks like we’re getting another New Day vs. Usos match. That should be excellent, but it will be interesting to see where that leaves the Bludgeon Brothers.

Speaking of which, the Bludgeon Brothers immediately come out for their match, and they tease beating up the New Day before walking to the ring.

Charlotte Flair cuts a promo on Ruby Riott after the break, stating that she always gets what she wants and never backs down from the fight. She seems to have put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against Ruby at Fastlane and signs off with a nice big WOOO!

Bludgeon Brothers vs. Jobbers

The Bludgeon Brothers dished out some seriously impressive punishment. I wish every squash match against jobbers was like the ones Harper and Rowan put together. I mean, that was seriously fun!
