WWE WrestleMania 34: Predicting The Miz’s Opponent

A look at which superstars the Miz could face at WWE WrestleMania 34 when he defends his Intercontinental Championship.

WWE WrestleMania 34 will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans in less than 50 days. 46 days as of writing this article. The annual extravaganza will look to continue its tradition of putting on spectacular shows and matches. As of now no matches have been confirmed for the event, except the potential WWE title match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura; if Styles walks out of Fastlane with the title.

It is also expected that Roman Reigns could most likely be the one to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal title. Talks about a showdown between John Cena and Undertaker is also high among the WWE universe. Plenty of other matches will be worked into the card once Elimination Chamber and Fastlane PPVs unfold before us. One of those matches will be the Inter Continental title match.

Seeing as how the Miz is competing in the Elimination Chamber for the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar, it is safe to assume he will not be defending it with much of a threat until WrestleMania 34. Miz’s opponent at the event could most likely upset his plans of making 2018 his year in the WWE. But who will the Miz face at WrestleMania 34?

Over the years, we have seen a few times where the title has been defended in multi-man ladder matches which were put together at the last moment. However, this time, things are different. The IC title is no longer an afterthought in the mid-card. It is a priced possession held dearly by the Miz, set to defend it at any cost.
