WWE: Will Adam Cole Get Called Up After WrestleMania?

WWE NXT is a place where talent is suppose to grow their talent before heading to the main roster. Some stars come to NXT and need little to no additional training. This could be said in the case of Adam Cole, who was already a world-traveled athlete before arriving there.

When Adam Cole joined WWE NXT and formed The Undisputed Era with Fish and O’Reilly the wrestling world took notice. Adam Cole was already a well-known figure on the wrestling scene as a member of The Bullet Club.

After Cole was an entrant in last month’s Royal Rumble match, it seemed coming to the main roster would happen sooner than later. This combined with his excellent in-ring skill leads me to wonder when exactly he will be called up to the main roster.

There are a couple different ideas I have on this. First if he did stay in NXT longer he is bound to be champion. Now let’s think ahead here to what a post-WrestleMania NXT Title picture would look like. I think Aleister Black will take the title off of Almas at TakeOver: New Orleans. Second I think Fish and O’Reilly will retain at the event as well. I could see this leading to the continuation of the Black/Cole feud from before TakeOver Philly, which could lead to Cole winning the belt from Black. This would start an angle where The Undisputed Era would be holding all of the gold.

Now let’s explore the other possibility of Cole being called up to RAW Or SmackDown Live after WrestleMania. Cole is one of the competitors who were pretty much television ready from the start. He already had a lengthy resume before entering the WWE. I mentioned above his entry to the Royal Rumble where he got a great pop from the crowd.

Cole could get called up after WrestleMania, and it seems that would sit well with the crowd. Cole is no stranger to guys like Owens, Styles, and Nakamura from the independent scene where he has battled all three.

Adam Cole is destined to do great things in the WWE. Many wrestlers have been called up before winning NXT gold. So what is more likely to “Shock The System”, The Undisputed Era reigning supreme in NXT, or Cole moving on to bigger titles on the main roster? With WWE your guess is as good as mine, but Cole will prosper wherever he ends up.
