All signs seem to point to John Cena facing Undertaker at WWE’s marquee WrestleMania event this year. But there are four much better opponents for Cena to face than the Deadman.

I’m coming out with a bold prediction: John Cena is not going to win the Fatal 63 Person-Way at Fastlane. His WrestleMania moment will not be settled with the outcome of that match. And that’s okay because it’s arguably the most intriguing angle leading into WrestleMania this year.

We’ve seen Big Match John come into the ring over the past few weeks, making excuses for coming up short and being unable to secure a match for himself at the big event in New Orleans. He even went as far as to throw caution to the wind and randomly call out the Undertaker to a match. Now it seems everyone is expecting that to happen, and most people I run into are excited at the idea of this match.

Folks, I hope you’re ready for a cold shower of damp, frigid reality, but Undertaker has not been healthy in years. His back is shot. His shoulder is done. His face has been reconstructed. His ankle was shattered. He’s torn his groin and biceps. His hips are basically artificial.

He is chronically injured.

When you consider this, he can’t take risks or big bumps like he used to. And honestly, he shouldn’t have to. Undertaker has laid it out on the line for our precious entertainment for over 25 years. If there was ever a wrestler who deserves to retire quietly, it’s him. This Viking is entitled to his Valhalla.

It was painful enough to see him against Roman Reigns last year, I don’t understand how it will be better should he fight John Cena this year. In fact, I’m going to lay out for you, via the magic of fantasy booking and out-of-the-box thinking, four better choices for John Cena to face at WrestleMania this year.
