205 Live has been undergoing a quiet makeover in recent weeks, would the show continue to deliver as the Cruiserweight Championship tournament gets closer to its climax?

Since the beginning of February, 205 Live has undergone a little bit of a makeover. The show was stagnating pretty quickly towards the end of 2017, especially with Enzo Amore being the top guy on the show.

With Enzo out of the picture, and Triple H reportedly taking creative control, the show has felt like a breath of fresh air recently. A renewed focus on wrestling, and with several NXT stars joining the brand, temporarily, at least, the show has been offering the best matches on WWE television in recent weeks.

The Cruiserweight tournament, which will determine the new Cruiserweight Champion has quietly become one of the best parts of WWE’s weekly programming and has been a great way to showcase the talents of the roster.

With WrestleMania just under five weeks away, the show presented us with its final two quarterfinal matches this week, with Cedric Alexander and Roderick Strong both having earned their places in the semi-finals on last week’s show.

This week’s show saw two of the tournament’s favourites in action, with Drew Gulak taking on Mark Andrews, and Mustafa Ali facing off against Buddy Murphy. Could these men continue the tournament’s trend of delivering top draw match-ups? Let’s take a look and find out.
