WWE 205 Live continues on the Road to WrestleMania this week as the brand determines one of their competitors for the Cruiserweight Championship final in New Orleans.
205 Live has been supplying the WWE universe with some of the company’s best weekly matches over the last few months as the roster competes for the right to compete at WrestleMania 34 for the vacated Cruiserweight Championship.
The tournament has seen several new NXT stars brought up to the main roster to compete for the belt, and as a result, the show has become a must-see piece of WWE TV programming.
On this week’s show, tournament favorite Cedric Alexander battled NXT star and fan favourite Roderick Strong in the tournament’s first semi-final match, with a guaranteed place at Wrestlemania on the line. Elsewhere on the card, the brand continued to quietly build on its emerging tag-team division as it prepares for the rumored introduction of tag team titles after WrestleMania as Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa squared off against Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik.
