3. The End Is Near-Armageddon

Hey I never said that every song had to be a wrestler’s theme. This song is an interesting one. Because A: It’s a pretty good song for a wrestling promo and B: It’s been used several times and is still forgotten for the most part. How do you know it’s forgotten? Because it’s been used multiple times. The WWE pretty much thinks you didn’t notice. But the marks notice everything.

The song was originally used in the opening of the Armageddon 2000 pay per view. This is the show that featured the first ever six-man Hell In A Cell match that had Kurt Angle defend the WWE Championship against The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple H and for some reason, Rikishi.

The video package is kind of perfect. And it’s because of this song. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend that you jump on the WWE Network and watch this.

The theme was also used at Armageddon 2003, Armageddon 2007 and at Survivor Series 2001. It would be easy to call it the Armageddon theme, but it was only used at these three Armageddon shows, and there were nine of them from 1999 to 2008.
