For the fourth time, WWE will bring WrestleMania to New Jersey in 2019. There’s been no shortage of memorable moments from the first three trips to the state.

On Friday, WWE announced the location for WrestleMania 35. On April 7, 2019, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will play host to the Show of Shows. It will be the second time WWE heads to that venue, after WrestleMania 29 in 2013.

But that’s not the only time WrestleMania has hit the Garden State. In 1988 and 1989, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City hosted WrestleManias IV and V. Though neither show is usually mentioned in the same breath as the greatest Manias of all time, each one had its fair share of memorable moments. The same can be said for WrestleMania 29 – which was by far the best of the New Jersey WrestleManias to date.

The news of WWE heading back to Jersey for the biggest show of the year brings back memories of the prior trips to the area. Not all of the most memorable moments from the shows are necessarily good memories. But there have definitely been plenty of unforgettable occurrences in the state when it comes to The Grandest Stage of Them All.

What are those moments? Good question! Let’s take a trip down memory lane and relive the most memorable moments in New Jersey’s WrestleMania legacy, in no particular order.
