WWE Raw 5 Takeaways: Heel Heat Building For The Beast Incarnate

The March 19 edition of WWE Raw had its ups and downs, but it did a solid enough job of continuing some key storylines heading into WrestleMania 34.
Last night’s WWE Raw wasn’t perfect by no means, but it did add quite a bit to certain feuds that will come to light on the grandest stage of them all in just under three weeks.
The show also saw the WWE debut of one of the most unique segments in pro wrestling over the past couple years. With that being said, let’s take a look at five key takeaways from the March 19 edition of WWE Raw.
5. Nia Jax Gets Her Big WrestleMania Break
It might have taken a while, but Nia Jax is finally getting her big break on the main roster. Jax has had plenty of impressive moments over the past year or so, but last night officially confirmed that she will get the biggest break of her career in less than three weeks at the showcase of the immortals.
The Irresistible Force has been entangled in a feud with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss over the past few weeks following an apparent friendship with Bliss. The Raw Women’s Champion has played a bully type of role towards Jax recently, including last night when she got everything out in the open about her feelings towards Jax.
Prior to her match with Asuka, Bliss openly acknowledged her harsh words towards Jax from the previous week on Raw. Bliss’s match with Asuka ended when she didn’t want any more to do with The Empress Of Tomorrow and got intentionally counted out, but her night wasn’t quite finished yet as The Irresistible Force approached her in a heated exchange.
Jax laid out Mickie James and then began chasing Bliss through the crowd. Bliss eventually got free when she reached the backstage area, but Jax made her intentions very clear. And later in the night when Bliss approached GM Kurt Angle, Angle made the match official for WrestleMania 34 between Bliss and Jax with the Raw Women’s Championship on the line.
The Raw Women’s Championship will be at stake on the grandest stage of them all, and The Irresistible Force could have a breakthrough career moment in New Orleans.
